Ultimate Debate Champion Class

The Ultimate Debate Champion Class will be led by Dylan Jacobs and Griffith Vertican, who will teach you how to knock out your opponents in the first round! Students will have the opportunity to practice and dive deeper in breakout sessions for both Team Policy and Lincoln Douglas students, and will also develop some crossover skills that will be useful for competing in Parliamentary debate. 

Lincoln Douglas Debate Class

This is your chance to be taught by one of the top Lincoln Douglas debate coaches in all of Stoa. Griffith Vertican’s students have made it to the final round of nationals four times, and have won the national title twice, including back to back in 2018 and 2019.

Tuesdays LD Class

Perfect for students who can’t make the Monday LD Class, this Tuesday class will focus on how to become a top Lincoln Douglas debater and improve your LD debate skills. It will train students in skills including how to write better cases and applications, better use of evidence and cross examination, and voting issues that work well with your cases.
