Meet Dylan!

Dylan Jacobs has competed for three years in Stoa in almost every speech and debate event. In the 2018-2019 season he went 5-1 in LD at NITOC and got 6th place in Parliamentary Debate, becoming the national champion in demonstration speech as well. In the most recent Stoa season he finished first in the nation in Apologetics, Extemp, Persuasive, and LD. At Point Loma he won first place in Parliamentary Debate with his partner Clara Harney, finishing with a 6-0 record. In the NIHD-sponsored NVDC he finished 1st in Parli, 2nd in TP, 5th in LD and 1st in LD speaks. Finally, he was the national champion for 2020, finishing 1st on Speechranks for the season.
