CODENAME California Christmas Challenge’s Junior Debate track is an opportunity for siblings and younger students to participate in debate and practice their skills! They’ll be debating this year’s LD resolution, there will be four rounds, and all speech times will be shortened by one minute.

The Junior Debate topic will be the same as this year’s Stoa LD resolution:

Resolved: Economic stability is more important than economic growth.

Judging

Yes, students can judge junior debate! If they’re not competing in Parliamentary debate, students are eligible to take a Juniors ballot!
